Fun With the Topping Tornado

I wanted to share with you some pics from our Topping Tornado experience. This Christmas my children received many amazing gifts from friends and family. One of their favorites came from my brother and sister in law. It's called a Topping Tornado.

Basically it is a big plastic contraption with a sliding door that reminds me of some kind of space pod in which you place an iced cupcake. It has several small compartments on the top for sprinkles, and a large red button that, when pushed repeatedly it sends all of the sprinkles flying in a flurry of sugary goodness down on top of you cupcake.

The children loved  looking through the big plastic tube to see the sprinkles flying down on to their cakes. My son loved to push the button so much that it actually became difficult to get him to stop long enough to reload the sprinkles.

Here is a very dark and dramatic picture of a cupcake! Enjoy.

When we were all done I put the separate parts in to the dish washer. The instructions say not to submerge the base in water. I'm not sure why, but ours washed up just fine.

So thank you to uncle T.C. and aunt Shauna for the wonderful gift. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

I am really sorry about the word verification. I have been getting TONS of spam and this is the only way I can get a handle on it. I do love to hear what you have to say and hope that you will still take the time to comment. Thank you.
